Cala Gogo · Environment
Protecting the environment is something we inherited from our great grand parents and it is something we should continue to do this for the future generation. Cala Gogo is also aware of this and has taken some measures and with a political attitude we are trying to achieve an ENVIRONMENT CERTIFICATE since 2003 (Generalitat de Catalunya)

For this we have introduced some systems to protect the environment:

* To save water we have introduced the drop by drop irrigation system
* Installation of non water consuming urinaries (WC1)
* The oils and greases from the restaurants are collected separately
* In the showers our showerheads use less water
* Energy saving lighting and LED
* Reducting of the water capacity in the toilets
* Installation of the termic isolation system to prevent of heat escaping that are energetically efficient
* We have placed different containers to collect the garbage at various locations

 

Please co-operate by using the campsite map to see where containers are located.

Further we would like to remind you:

* Water is a scare resource, use it sensibly
* Dispose of garbage in the correct garbage bin
* Do not mix the organic-garbage with the other garbage.

For other garbage, that is not possible to dump on the campsite, please take it to the "Deixalleria de Calonge", the garbage-center in Calonge.

YELLOW Container: Plastic, "tetra-brik" and tin
BLUE Container: Paper and carton.
GREEN Container: Organic garbage
Sympathetic Container (Beach, Supermermarket, Area 300): Tin cans.
GREEN Igloo container for glass. Can be used between 11 am  and 11:45 pm.

At the reception you can dispose of old batteries and printer parts.

    The conditions of the contract for the pitches MySpace Camping:
    1 It is personal and non-transferable. It is regarded as binding once the 1st payment is received. No change in the dates nor the people will be allowed unless prior authorization of Cala Gogo..

    2 The pitches for a caravan, motor-home or a trailer tent (not valid for tents) will be available for the customer from 1 p.m. on the agreed arrival's date. The customer has to leave the pitch by 12 midday on the agreed day of departure. In the event that the customer arrives later than the agreed arrival's date or leaves the site earlier than the agreed departure's date, the total for the entire stay will not be modified.

    3 The minimum stay will be of 10 nights in high season and 5 nights in low season..

    4 In order to confirm the acceptance if the contract the customer has to make a payment of 300€ by bank transfer or credit card after having received the instructions. The outstanding balance for the planned stay has to be sent by bank transfer at least 15 days before the due arrival. Not issuing the 2nd payment will imply the cancellation of the contract and therefore the customer loses the right to occupy the requested pitch 

    5 Cancellations: all cancellations have to be made in writing no less than 15 days before the due arrival date are entitled to a refund of 50% of the payment made in advance. All cancellations made less than 15 days before the agreed arrival day has no right to refund.

    6 Any customer who does not arrive by 12 midday of the day following the due arrival date loses the right to occupy the pitch. Cala Gogo reserves the right to rent this pitch unless the customer informs the reception about the delay. In such a case the booking will remain valid..

    7 The administrative costs for the MySpace Camping pitch are 3.00 € a day (1.00€ until 1st July and from 1st September). Cala Gogo guarantees the customer the right to occupy the requested pitch during his/ her stay as indicated in the contract except for unforeseen circumstances. In this case there will be a refund of the administrative costs for the MySpace Camping pitch.
